# Shareholders and dividends

## Investments and Dividends

The [vote-uni.decentral-art](https://vote-uni.decentral-art.com) investment tool is a solution that allows every investor to participate in the company's profits. With this tool, every investor can become involved in the investment process in the company and receive dividends.

#### Investment and right to dividend

Investor's contribution to the smart contract is deposited in the treasury. The smart contract allocates the investor a percentage share of the company's profits as a dividend. The shareholder invests his funds for 6, 12, or 24 months, which will correspond to a higher share depending on the amount of investment and investment time. The shareholder will be able to withdraw his funds from the investment at any time, which will be equivalent to resigning from the profits.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.decentral-art.com/uni-platform/management/shareholders-and-dividends.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
